What the Education Verification API does

Forged degrees remain one of the most common resume frauds. The Education Verification API first checks the national academic credential repository, where a growing number of universities publish digitally signed records, and falls back to institution verification for the rest. Either way you receive a structured, evidence-backed result.

Because institution verification takes time, the API is asynchronous: submit the details and certificate, then receive the outcome by webhook when it completes.

Consent is part of the contract

Academic records are personal data. The candidate's consent is captured before the request and shared with the institution where required.
